life off the wall
a texan in new york (moon)walking the earth
pomplamoose and the velvety nataly dawn
saw this guy at my new garden job last week:
THE tomato hornworm~ can eat your tomato plant in one night AND has the most perfectly cylindrical and extraordinarily ornate turds i have ever seen.
miss your moves
my old house in austin is gone! you were good to me! i will never forget you! sniff. (at least they kept the trees)

my new neighbor
there is a seemingly homeless man who likes to wander around my block wearing an imposter of a robe- it actually does not function as a piece of clothing should. he must think he looks glamorous with it on, flapping in the wind, pretending that it actually covers his naked body underneath. boy did i get an eyeful last night as i moved my couch that i have not used since college into my new quarters. thank god i made my folks not throw away my ugly things. how weird is it to be going back to school sitting on my old dusty furniture (that used to be in my old house in austin recently torn down) in HOUSTON of all places! never in a million years would I have guessed this future. I struggle with the longing of faraway friends and northeastern energy but, it surprisingly feels really good right now to be here.
Want.
me too josef. that is amazing.
studying abroad in texas
it is another country, no? i miss you new york, but you will have to come later for now. we can have one night (or weekend-week) stands from time to time. the passion will last longer that way. distance makes the heart grow fonder.
love, casey

Paola Pivi’s “Untitled (Donkey),” saw it once years ago and have always felt like it summed up something.
